DANCE Composition
an unconventional choreographic method based on visual art
This is a training intended to observe, explore and extrapolate visual art and utilize it as a springboard for ‘translating’ one art form to another; to movement and dance. This training enhances the development of observational skills, stimulates neurological development in building pathways from the visual to the physical. It is like a form of engineering. This training is specifically inspiring for dancers who would like to explore a different choreography composition approach.
Duration: This training is offered in two forms; introductory three-hour workshop and a 9-session training series. There’s additional information available outlining its content.
For: people with affinity for arts and movement - movement experience is a necessity
